xtends Your Existing DisplayPort Cable Run by 9-ft.

The dependable P579-009-4K6 (M/F) connects to your existing DisplayPort cable to extend the run by nine-feet (2.7 meters). This allows you more flexibility in placing, for instance, a cable box or media server connected to a DisplayPort-enabled television, monitor or projector. The male connector latches securely to help prevent the cable from becoming accidentally disconnected and disrupting a continuous audio/video signal.

Enjoy the Clarity of 4K/8K Video with Multi-Channel Audio and 4:4:4 Color

This extension cable supports 8K Ultra HD resolutions up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz with multi-channel sound. It's compatible with DisplayPort 1.4 standards for HDR, providing a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks. HDCP 2.2 compliance allows you to stream 4K content with no complications. This cable also supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor.

Invest in Quality Construction for Reliable Performance

You're expecting this 8K cable to last a long time, which is why it has been constructed with high-quality materials, such as a rugged PVC jacket. Contacts and connectors are gold-plated to resist corrosion. Double shielding reduces line noise (EMI/RFI) that can disrupt signals traveling through the DisplayPort cord. The source device provides power, so no external power adapter is needed.

TAA-Compliant for GSA Schedule Purchases

The P579-009-8K6 is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA), which makes it eligible for GSA (General Services Administration) Schedule and other federal procurement contracts.
