Getting Started
Initially each account will be designated a default role to Junior Buyer. To establish who will need to be set as administrator please email buy@bluum.com with the person's Name, Email, and Title.
Once you have been identified as the primary account holder (Administrator) you’ll be able to set user roles, request quotes, make purchases, and much more.
User roles available:
Administrator
- See all areas of the account
- Manage users and permissions
- Update and edit addresses
- Approve/create shopping lists
- Request quotes
- Make purchases
- See order history
Senior Buyer
- Approve/create shopping lists
- Request quotes
- Make purchases
- See order history
Junior Buyer
- Create shopping lists & submit for approval
Setting Up New Users
From the Account Dashboard select User Management from the menu, or go to https://buy.bluum.com/user-management/
Select Add New User - This will be seen at the bottom of the list of active users.
All new users set up by the administrator will be shown in the Users Management menu and receive an email with a link to set up the password to log in to the store.
Note: Only Administrators have access to add, update, and delete users on the Buy.Bluum.com website.
Editing Existing Users
Update and edit existing users under the User Management section.
Edit Existing Users - Click Edit under the Action column. You can modify the user information and user role as needed.
Delete Existing Users – Click Delete under the Action column.
Creating Quote Requests
On Buy.Bluum.com you have the option to create and manage your own quotes. Using this option will ensure you are getting the best pricing based on your contract(s).
While shopping you have the option to Add to Quote directly from the product page, add multiple products, and submit! From there your Account Manager will work with you to get the best pricing.
Submit Quote Request - From the Account Dashboard select Current Quote from the menu. Select Submit.
Managing Quotes
Manage and view all of your previous submitted quotes from the Quote section.
Here you'll be able to:
- Review the status of quotes
- View record history details of each quote submitted
- View and download printable versions of each quote
Purchasing Options
Buy.Bluum.com offers safe and secure flexible purchasing options in one easy-to-use shopping cart.
Credit and Debit Cards - All customers are able to easily purchase with credit or debit from all major credit cards. (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover)
Purchase Orders - Easily submit purchase orders with the option to add your custom PO number. (will require Net 30 terms agreement) Contact Buy@Bluum.com for more information.
Note: Tax exempt organizations are required to submit their forms prior to purchasing to ensure transactions are calculated correctly. Submit forms to Buy@Bluum.com.
